Alexander Calder



Alexander Calder was a sculptor, artist, and inventor. He is most known for inventing an artform called "mobile", a form of kenetic art. He lived to be 78 years old and died on November 11, 1976.
He has many sculptures around the world, some of those places include: Netherlands, Germany, Venezuela, Australia, and Israel.
Alexander worked in many different fields doing many different styles of art. He made jewelry, tapestry, paintings, sculpures, lithographs, and mobiles.
He graduated from college with a degree in mechanical engineering, and was a member of Delta Tau Delta. Some of his most known pieces of work were "Circus" and " Le Halebardier"
