I for got to take a photo of the form before staring the covering so... yeah... This is the second of two Hershey's Kisses that I am making, they are each about 15" tall.
I decided to put a bit of a swirl on the top to reflect the way the chocolate naturally curves and drips before it cools completely.
The second form is going to have a partially open wrapper so the top needed to be the smooth milk chocolaty color of a real Hershey's Kiss.
These are the two test attempts at making the wrapper for the first form.
Do you really need all that internal structure if you are going to cover them in foil? The foils seem too rough to be a kiss.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I'll try once more with the foil, see if I can get it to work... I'll probably end up using some sort of metallic fabric.
ReplyDeleteyes.
