This is my shark and the progress through it. I apologise for it being late. Had mifi problems. I choose this peice because it is out of my comfort zone and out of "my box." I like it because it is abstract and unique as well as interesting and it turned out to be a lot fun. I like the carving and how it turned out and the bass wood was easier to carve and manipulate. I think it kind of looks like a ship or something as well so I could of done more with the angle of the head.
It's great to be able to see it through it's different stages! Well done!
ReplyDeletei like the carving on the bottom you should have done that to the other side as well. Sorry but it looked like a shark before u smoothed the sides, but it looks really good and is interesting to look at
