Peter Callesen

Peter Callesen was born in 1967 in Denmark. He spent 3 years at the college for Goldsmith's in London. After that he spent several years studying art and architecture in Arthus. Peter uses simple plain white printer paper. He uses this because it is something that everyone uses and can relate too. He thinks that the transformation from 2-D to 3-D to be magical. He leaves the the 3-D sculpture connected to the 2-D material that the sculpture was created from so the magic can be revealed. His work scales from very small to life size. They all use intricate time consuming cuts to create phenomenal pieces of art. I would really like to see his work in person.
